Method
Each practice's own website, checked 2026-09-30.
Most practices publish no price on their website and give a quote at the consultation. The practices read are the Top 500 surgeons with a dossier, each read at its own site; the Top 500 method says how they were chosen.
What counts
- A price counts when the practice publishes it on its own site as its own fee for the operation. The statement is quoted as printed, with a link to the page it came from.
- A range counts at its midpoint. A price that starts at a figure, or ends in a plus sign, counts at that figure.
- Each practice counts once. Where a practice prints more than one full facelift price, its figure is the median of them. Two surgeons on one practice site share one figure.
- A price a practice states for its own city on its own procedure page counts.
- Full facelift means a facelift or a face and neck lift. Mini, lower, midface and revision facelifts, and a facelift priced together with eyelid, brow or lip surgery, are listed under other face procedures.
- Prices are shown as printed. Some include anesthesia and facility fees and some are the surgeon's fee alone; the quote says which when the practice says.
What was left out
- Averages from the ASPS, RealSelf or other published statistics, including those quoted on a practice site.
- Consultation fees and surgery deposits.
- Prices on directory, marketing and review sites. Only the practice's own site counts.
