Facelift and neck lift work

- Deep plane facelift. Releases the zygomatic, masseteric, mandibular and cervical retaining ligaments to lift the cheeks, jawline and neck.
- Traditional facelift. Incision from the temple hair in front of the ear, under the lobe and behind the ear into the hairline; two to four hours; twilight sleep with local anesthesia.
- Mini facelift. Short scar or limited incision lift for mild sagging and jowls.
- Neck lift. Neck muscles lifted, excess skin and fat removed, pressure dressing applied; swelling typically down after 48 hours and most bruising gone within two weeks; final results in 3 to 6 months (neck lift). Neck and chin liposuction has its own page (neck liposuction).
