Facelift and neck lift work
- Deep plane facelift. Deep facial tissues are lifted and repositioned through incisions around the ear and hairline, typically under MAC (monitored anesthesia care) twilight sedation (deep plane page).
- SMAS facelift. The SMAS is tightened with sutures; a strip of SMAS may be trimmed and used in the lips or elsewhere; liposuction of cheeks and neck and tightening of neck bands through a small submental incision are described (facelift page).
- SculptLift. A procedure the site says was developed and trademarked by Dr. Rousso: a SMAS facelift in which the tissue strip removed in front of the ear is placed in the lips, laugh lines or marionette lines (SculptLift page).
- Mini lift and endoscopic facelift. The mini lift uses shorter S-shaped incisions around the ear (mini lift page); the facelift page also describes an endoscopic facelift (facelift page).
- Neck lift. Incisions behind the ears and beneath the chin, liposuction, tightening of the neck muscles from the middle and sides, removal of the subplatysmal fat pad and skin redraping; a platysmaplasty may be performed (neck lift page).
- AccuLift. Laser fiber through two puncture points under the chin under local anesthesia (AccuLift page).
