Facelift and neck lift work
- Deep plane facelift. Incisions in natural creases around the ear; retaining ligaments released and the deeper layer moved as a composite unit. Three variants named: standard, extended (more jawline and upper neck) and vertical deep plane. The page states he does not use traditional deep fixation sutures and uses ARTISS fibrin adhesive instead. Outpatient, general anesthesia (deep plane facelift).
- No drains. The FAQ states "Dr. Rizk does not use drains" and that he uses internal tissue glue (FAQ).
- Deep plane neck lift. Releases and repositions the platysma; removes or contours subplatysmal fat, the anterior digastric muscles and submandibular glands when needed; ties the midline platysma cords (deep plane neck lift).
- Recovery, as printed. "About two weeks of social downtime"; light daily activities by the end of week two; most visible bruising resolved at one month; results fully matured at six to twelve months (deep plane facelift). Strenuous activity avoided for 2 weeks; "a few weeks" before returning to work (FAQ).
