Facelift and neck lift work

• Facelift. Outpatient, typically under general anesthesia given by a board-certified anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist. Tumescent infiltration, then a deep plane, extended high SMAS approach; incisions in the hairline and around the ear; no surgical drains. Fat grafting to flattened areas and Nano Smooth micronized fat to wrinkled or sun-damaged skin are often added (facelift page).
• Neck lift. Outpatient under general anesthesia; incisions behind the ears, under the chin or both; muscles tightened; fat removed by liposuction and redistributed ("fat dilution") (neck lift page).
• Xact Lift. An FDA-cleared suturing device used through two small incisions under 1 inch to lift the mid-face and lateral brow or to tighten the platysma; the site states Dr. Bucky and Dr. Christopher Godek "pioneered the development of the Xact device" and have performed over 500 Xact procedures in five years (Xact page).
• Nano Smooth fat to the neck. Injection of filtered nanofat into neck skin (Nano Smooth page).
