Facelift and neck lift work

• Deep plane facelift. Releases the ligaments beneath the SMAS in the lateral and central face so skin, SMAS, platysma and fat pads move as one unit; the incision runs under the sideburn and around the ear; general anesthesia; 3-5 hours (deep plane facelift).
• Recovery, as the site states it. Inflammation and bruising peak at 3-4 days and mostly subside in 2-3 weeks; sutures out by 2 weeks; return to work at about 2 weeks; no strenuous activity for 6 weeks; about 70% of visible healing at 8 weeks; final result at about 6 months.
