Facelift and neck lift work
- Traditional facelift. Incisions around the ears and into the hairline; the muscle layer under the cheek and neck skin is lifted with sutures; fat may be sculpted or moved; skin is re-draped; a second incision under the chin may be used for the neck (facelift and neck lift).
- Anesthesia and setting. Deep sedation ("twilight") or general anesthesia with an anesthesiologist and CRNAs; a nearby hospital may be used, overnight or outpatient.
- Partial lift and Little Lift. A partial lift uses shorter incisions at the temples and around the ear. The "Little Lift" is an in-office procedure of about 90 minutes under local anesthesia for younger patients.
- Recovery, as the site states it. Dressing removed the next morning; swelling and bruising peak at 3 days; sutures out at about 1 week; about 2 weeks before driving, social outings or work; bruising and swelling fade in 2 or 3 weeks; healing continues for about 1 year.
- Gallery. Facelift and neck lift cases shown with before and after sliders (facelift gallery).
- Fees. The financing page lists a $95 consultation fee, applied to surgery if scheduled, and a $500 deposit to secure a surgery date. No procedure prices are published (financing).
