Facelift and neck lift work
- Facelift. The page states his method lifts the muscles of the face and neck rather than the SMAS, based on his and Dr. Rosenberg's finding that the platysma extends into the face; tension goes on deep tissue and the skin gets a two-layer closure. Three to five hours; same-day discharge; return to work often a week after surgery; sutures out in 7 to 10 days; swelling much reduced by four weeks (facelift).
- Male facelift. Muscle of the face and neck suspended laterally; post-tragal incision without shifting the sideburn; no suction drains; local, minimal sedation or general anesthesia; work in 7 to 10 days (male facelift).
- Five Layer Neck Lift. Named as his technique; treats all five layers of the neck, including the digastric muscle; uses ultrasonic dissectors and no drains; done in the Chicago office under anesthesia (neck lift). The facelift page lists subplatysmal fat, the anterior digastric muscle and submandibular gland excess as neck factors, with part of the gland removed in select cases.
- Galleries. Page markup lists about 15 facelift patients (aging face), about 10 neck-only patients (neck) and a mini facelift page (mini).
Other facial procedures
Upper and lower blepharoplasty with an approach that avoids hollowing (eyelid, gallery); brow lift by skin-only lateral, endoscopic or mid-forehead direct approach (brow lift); rhinoplasty, lip procedures and skin treatments.
