Facelift and neck lift work
- Preservation extended deep plane facelift. The page describes the facelift as treating the lower two-thirds of the face and the neck, and names the preservation extended deep plane facelift as its technique. The procedure takes about 2.5 hours, under monitored sedation, same-day discharge. Facelifts are often combined with laser resurfacing, chemical peels or fat transfer (facelift).
- Facelift recovery. Bruising, swelling and tightness subside within a couple of weeks; sutures are removed after one week; hair washing after 48 hours; optimal results after several months.
- Mini-lift and S-lift. Smaller incision near the ear; some done in the in-office suite, others under monitored sedation. The S-lift uses an S-shaped incision around the ear to lift the cheeks, jowls and jawline (mini-lift).
- Neck lift. Incision under the chin and/or behind or along the ear; liposuction first if needed, then skin trimming and tightening of the underlying tissue and muscle. About 2 hours under monitored sedation; final results can take up to 6 months (neck lift).
- Prices. None published.
