The Hills cast member had 10 procedures in one day on 2009-11-20, including a mini brow lift and fat injections in her cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips, and disclosed them to People in January 2010. After Dr. Frank Ryan died in August 2010 she wrote on Twitter that he was "the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist."

A brow lift raises low or heavy eyebrows. In the endoscopic method the surgeon works through a few short scalp incisions with a camera, without the ear-to-ear coronal incision, and weakens the frown muscles between the brows (PMID 7972423). It was the most frequent brow lift technique in American Society of Plastic Surgeons member surveys from 2000 and 2020 (PMID 37409963).
